Anne Bowes, MD

Hospitalist

Dr. Anne Bowes is a dedicated and skilled physician who grew up in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She began her academic journey at Southwestern Oklahoma State University, where she pursued her undergraduate studies. She then attended Southern Nazarene University where she received her bachelor's in psychology. Following her graduation, Dr. Bowes furthered her education at the University of Texas at Dallas, earning her certificate in biomedical science. 

Driven by her passion for medicine, Dr. Bowes continued her education at Lincoln Memorial University, DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine, where she obtained her osteopathic medicine degree. Dr. Bowes completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Oklahoma State University Medical Center, where she honed her expertise. After completing her residency, Dr. Bowes became an integral part of the team at Baptist Health - Fort Smith Women’s Health Clinic, where she continued to provide compassionate and comprehensive care to her patients until she left in 2022, to be closer to friends and family back in Oklahoma. She began working at OBHWS in 2022. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Ron, and son, Jacob. She loves the Oklahoma State Cowboys and enjoys cooking, entertaining, and loving on her fur babies – Farsley (corgi), Doug (lab mix), and her 3 tabby cats - Taco, Walter, and Chicken.
