Michelle Brotherton, MD,FACOG

Michelle Brotherton, MD, FACOG is a board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist with more than 20 years of experience caring for women at all stages of life. She joined OBHWS at Ascension St John Medical Center in 2025 where she is honored to support patients through some of life’s most meaningful and vulnerable moments.Dr. Brotherton earned her medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine and completed her Ob/Gyn residency at Creighton University School of Medicine Phoenix program in 2005. She pursued her undergraduate studies at Wellesley College where she graduated magna cum laude with a degree in chemistry. Her career has included both traditional practice and hospital-based care, giving her a broad perspective and a calm, steady approach in a wide range of clinical situations.She is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and a member of the Society of OB/GYN Hospitalists.Outside of medicine, she enjoys studying harp, attending theater and symphony performances, volunteering with her daughter, Molly and spending time with her husband, Larry. She shares her home with two sweet doggies, Sonny and Luna.
